Bio:
Brendon made a name for
himself on Tour in 2010. A model of consistency, he had
seven Top-10s and three Top-3 showings. Brendon’s fine
play earned him well over $2 million. Don’t bet against
him for at least one Tour victory in 2011.
2009 marked a solid return for Brendon to the PGA Tour.
Playing in 29 events, he had two Top-10s and four
Top-25s earning $536,696.
Brendon earned his PGA Tour card in 2008 on the
Nationwide Tour. He racked up nine Top-10 finishes and
won the Xerox Classic by four shots. His $437,000 in
prize money finished him in 2nd place on the Money List
and secured his return trip to the PGA Tour in 2009.
Brendon had 2 Top-10s in 2007, which was Brendon’s
rookie season on the PGA Tour.
Brendon, a native of Zimbabwe, won his country’s
national amateur champion in 1999, breaking Nick Price’s
scoring record. He came to the U.S. to play his college
golf at Virginia Tech.
