Brendon finished the 2009 season with a bang. He shot 17 under at the PGA Qualifying school at Bear Lakes to finish 5th and earn his exempt status for the 2010 PGA Tour season. Brendon earned just under $550,000 and had 3 top ten finishes in 2009. He seems to get better each year he has been on tour and 2010 looks to be a breakout year. He will start his season in Hawaii playing in the Sony Open.

2008 was a breakout year for Brendon on the Nationwide Tour . He made the cut in 22 of his 28 events and racked up nine Top-10 finishes. In August of that year, he won the Xerox Classic by four shots. His $437,000 in prize money finished him in 2nd place on the Money List and secured his return trip to the PGA Tour in 2009. 2007 was Brendon’s rookie season on the PGA Tour. With Top 10 finishes at the Mayakoba Classic and the Reno-Tahoe Open, Brendon earned $447,000 and finished 175th on the Money List. In 2008 he was named Nationwide Player of the Year by his peers.

Brendon, a native of Zimbabwe, won his country’s national amateur champion in 1999, breaking Nick Price’s scoring record. He came to the U.S. to play his college golf at Virginia Tech.
